The City of Rupert , Idaho (Owner ) is soliciting Statements of Qualification from contractors interested in bidding on the construction of the Well 9 and 10 Well Houses (Project ) . PURPOSE . The prequalification procedure will select and prequalify General Contractors to bid on the construction of the Rupert Well 9 and 10 Well Houses Project . Bids will only be accepted from those General Contractors that are prequalified by the Owner . No other General Contractors will be eligible to bid on the Project . Construction of two new CMU well houses in Rupert , Idaho for wells 9 and 10 including : structural , mechanical , HVAC , plumbing , electrical , and instrumentation ; construction of new interior pump , piping , tablet chlorination system ; construction of yard piping including site backfill , grading and restoration ; approximately 600 feet of transmission piping from well discharge to distribution system for each well house . Equipment with long lead times (flow meters , VFDs , pumps ) will be pre - purchased by the City and provided to the contractor for installation .
