Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Meriden, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

This bid/contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including setaside (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO. The project will consist of the milling and overlay of various roadways in the City of Meriden totaling approximately 10.96 miles in length. Refer to the roadway list titled "Citywide Paving Program Summer/Fall 2026 Roadway List" included with this bid package for approximate limits of work. Work will include, but is not limited to, a 2" fine mill of existing pavement, a 2" overlay of Class 2 bituminous pavement, driveway aprons, and painted pavement markings. The City may remove or add roadways to the proposed roadway list as the project progresses and will coordinate with the Contractor during the project. Work performed on any additional roadways added by the City will be performed at the Unit Prices submitted on the Bid Form and may include unit cost for moves submitted on the Bid Form if the location is more than 2,500 feet from work being performed.
