Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tea, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project consists of asphalt milling and asphalt paving for various local roadway segments in the Tea community, including applicable traffic control. Each bid must be accompanied by a guaranty in the amount of 10% of the total amount bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft in the amount of 5% of the amount bid. Acceptable forms of proposal guaranties are certified checks, cashier's checks, bank drafts issued upon a national or state bank, and bid bonds issued in accordance with South Dakota law and made payable to the City of Tea. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract award, which will remain in effect for at least one year after the City's letter of Final Acceptance. A Certificate of Insurance is required from the successful bidder prior to beginning work. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Tea reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, and make awards as deemed to be in its best interest.
