Renovation of an educational facility in Tea, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project scope: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and tools required to remove and replace the EPDM roof on the original high school building per the plans and specifications. Project to be completed by August 15, 2025. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 30 days following the bid opening without a written request explaining the cause of the withdrawal and without written consent of the Owner after reviewing the cause. All bids should include excise tax to be paid by the bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, bidder's bond, or certified check payable to "TEA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT" for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. clarification of any questions or concerns regarding the intent or amount of work required to complete the project by contacting the District Operations Manager, Wayne Larsen at 605-351-0488, or the Business Manager, Christine Esping at 605-498-2700 opt 5. Claims will not be allowed for lack of information on the part of the bidder. A bidder's bond shall include a certified copy of the power of attorney. The Board of Education of the Tea Area School District 41-5 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to accept proposals it deems to be in its best interest, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding procedures.
