Description

Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Powhatan, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Town of Powhatan has received an Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP) grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to replace the roof and repave the parking lot of the community center. The Town is interested in acquiring the services of an engineering firm or individual to provide services for this project. Procedures for selection will follow ACEDP procurement requirements, and responses will be evaluated based on specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability to perform the work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent receiving the highest total score in the evaluation process. Interested parties must submit three copies of their response to the Request for Qualifications package. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
