Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in La Verne, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all necessary materials, labor, tools and equipment for the removal and replacement of concrete bus pad, removal and replacement of a bus bench up to current ADA accessibility standards on Durward Way. Bid must be submitted electronically for the exact item(s) requested in the bid specifications. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents. Each bid shall be made on the proposal form furnished by the City, in accordance with the plans and specifications, and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidders' bond, payable to the City in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract for the work. Compliance with the prevailing rates of wages, apprenticeship employment standards, and contractor registration established by the State Director of Industrial Relations will be required. Payment will be made in accordance with the specifications with a five percent (5%) retainage on progress payments. Bids are to be submitted electronically online. All forms required to be completed per the Bid Documents shall be submitted electronically prior to the Bid date and time. Hard copies will not be accepted. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is received as specified.
