Site work for a civil project in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
A highly qualified company is sought to design and build approximately 4,000 linear feet of 20-inch fusible PVC effluent pipe discharging from a new wastewater treatment plant, using open cut and jack & bore methods with manholes. The effluent pipe will be installed about 6 feet below grade. About 185 linear feet of the new pipe will be jack & bored under a railroad owned by Norfolk Southern, encased within a 30-inch steel casing pipe, approximately 6 feet below normal grade and 24 feet below the base of the rail. A 40-foot launching pit and a 15-foot receiving pit will be dug for the jack & bore. The project will also include erosion control and all other ancillary items necessary for a complete effluent pipe installation. Proposal packages are to be requested via email, and only firms on the "List of Proposers" may submit proposals. Proposals must follow the guidelines in the proposal package, and all Federal, State, and Local Laws must be complied with. Procurement will adhere to ARPA Federal Funding guidelines.
