Reference Number 0000426987 The City of Aspen is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to clean and apply a penetrating silane/siloxane sealer to the concrete driving and parking surfaces within the Rio Grande Parking Garage located in Aspen, Colorado. The intent of this project is to protect the concrete decks from moisture intrusion, chloride penetration, freeze-thaw damage, and deterioration associated with salts and vehicular traffic. The garage consists of four parking levels: o Level 2 o Level 1 o Basement Level B1 o Basement Level B2 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. This project must take place during the Fall off-season which is from early October to the Middle of November. Please see Question Acceptance Deadline 06/26/2026 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes The Contractor shall: o Mobilize personnel, equipment, and materials to the project site. o Coordinate with the City of Aspen Parking Department to set up phased temporary traffic control and pedestrian protection throughout construction. o Pressure wash all designated concrete surfaces to remove dirt, debris, dust, oils, salts, and other contaminants. o Apply concrete cleaning products as necessary to remove contaminants that could inhibit penetration or performance of the sealer. o Allow surfaces to dry sufficiently prior to sealer application in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. o Furnish and apply a penetrating silane/siloxane concrete sealer to all designated concrete deck surfaces. o Protect adjacent surfaces, vehicles, equipment, striping, walls, drains, and building elements from overspray or damage. o Remove all waste materials and leave the site in a clean condition. o Provide final documentation including product data sheets, application records, warranty information, and coverage rates achieved.
