Renovation of a municipal facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project will replace the existing stairs on the West Portico of the Old Capitol. The building involved is the Old Capitol. Project consists of removal and replacement of the existing central concrete stairs at the West Portico of the Old Capitol. New stairs shall be constructed to match existing design intent, materials, and character. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Old Capitol West Portico, 1 North Clinton St, Iowa City, Iowa 52242. Targeted Small Business (TSB) -- (10%) Bidder agrees to Substantially Complete project Work within twenty-five (25) calendar days and shall have no more than seven (7) days to complete all items on the Punch List and achieve Final Completion. Q/A:- Each Bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, shall make written request to the Design Professional for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which may be discovered.
