Renovation of a multi-residential development in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Prime Contractors are invited to submit a Bid under seal for the construction project consisting of general construction for roof replacement at Fellowstown Apartments, 22 Charleston St., Wellsboro, PA 16901. The project must comply with the prepared specifications and is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and Federal Labor Standards Provisions for federally financed and assisted construction. This is a Prevailing Wage project. Bidders must provide documentary evidence of outreach and commitments to minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns, as well as ensure compliance with requirements for non-discrimination, mandatory ratios of apprentices and trainees to journeymen, and diligent effort in hiring and contracting within the project area. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of not less than 10 percent of the Bid Price is required. Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract charge, and a Maintenance Bond covering defects for the year following acceptance are also required, all from an A- or better rated bonding company. Bid Documents are available from the Tioga County Housing Authority upon execution of an Electronic Document Release form and are only for the purpose of obtaining offers for this project. Bids are to be submitted using the provided Bid Form and will remain irrevocable for sixty days after submission. The Owner retains the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities.
