Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of the removal of approximately 26,000 square feet of pavement markings, the micro surfacing of approximately 68,000 square yards over two local roads, and the application of reflectorized pavement markings. The work also includes approximately 20,000 pounds of pavement crack sealing, covering both the roadways to be micro surfaced as well as additional local roadways. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond, cash, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond and a labor and materials bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price, are required. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities and to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part.
