This work encompasses six (6) project locations (See Location Map and Description Table). They are generally defined as Garfield and Fair Avenue (Sheridan to 30 th Street), Ripley Street (46 th Street to Colony Drive), Iowa Street (Garfield to 29 th Street), Farnam Street (Garfield to 29 th Street), Garfield (Jefferson to Grand Avenue) and Denison Avenue (Arlington to Tremont). The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the application of a Thin-lift HMA Overlay and other related items. Other related items may include full depth patching, milling, curb and gutter removal and replacement, structure adjustments, traffic control and other improvements necessary to facilitate the construction of the HMA Overlay of the roadway surfaces along the identified project locations. The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the 2026 Neighborhood Streets Preservation Program - Package C. This program is a targeted approach to rehabilitate approximately 3.2 lane-miles of residential roadways using two highly cost-effective pavement preservation techniques: thin-lift asphalt overlay and seal coating. Performing these treatments now will extend the service life of these 14 neighborhood street networks, protecting the city's infrastructure assets and preventing the need for far more expensive full-depth road reconstruction. This project will consist of three (3) bid packages. Package A is sealcoat and Package B is thin-lift overlay (West) and Package C is thin-lift overlay (East).
