Site work for a transportation facility in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The work consists of reconstructing the Runway Visual Guidance System (REILs) at Bedford County Airport. Bids must be prepared and submitted on prescribed forms and in accordance with the instructions in the Project Manual. Each bidder is required to provide a bid security in an amount equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid, in the form and subject to the conditions stated in the General Provisions. Successful bidders must enter into an agreement and provide a Contract Bond and required insurance within fifteen days of proposal acceptance, as specified in the contract documents. All labor on the project must be paid according to the prevailing wage rates set by the US Secretary of Labor and Industry and as included in the specifications, contract documents, and any addenda. The work is subject to regulations in the Project Manual. The Bedford County Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive informalities.
