Questions Due Date: Jul 16th 2026, 12:00 PM EDT The project consists of concrete curb and sidewalk replacement and installation, associated roadway restoration, driveway adjustments including excavation, backfill, milling and overlay, pavement markings and signing, drainage adjustments, erosion and sediment controls, all labor, equipment, materials, and all associated work listed and as indicated on the contract plans. The project includes an alternate bid for property adjustments due to construction, with the contractor required to coordinate with the Township on all adjustments including unit prices. There are two plan sets: one for Waterloo Avenue (SR2019) from Berwyn Avenue to First Avenue, and one for Township portions on First Avenue from Waterloo Road to Bridge Avenue and Bridge Avenue from First Avenue to Berwyn Avenue. Bidders must submit bids online via PennBid, accompanied by a bid bond in favor of Easttown Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. Bonds must be issued by a surety licensed to do business in Pennsylvania. The work constitutes Public Works under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and is subject to several Pennsylvania laws regarding worker rights, steel product procurement, trade practices, and employment verification. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as Prime Contractors in the relevant PennDOT Work Class Codes that cover at least 50% of the project. The project must be constructed in conformance with PennDOT Publication 408 (latest edition) and the project Technical Provisions.
