Bids are invited for the 2026 Chestnut Street OCD Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The work involves the installation of approximately 390 LF of 15" HDPE storm pipe, four storm inlets, and miscellaneous related work. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Bid proposals must be on the forms provided by the Township. Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required by the successful bidder for each contract. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination Decision and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents and govern all work under the Contract. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order #11246 regarding non-discrimination in employment and must establish goals for female and minority participation in the on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000. Attention is called to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and related regulations. The Contractor acknowledges that this project may be subject to the requirements of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) and agrees to comply with all applicable federal law as it relates to the use of domestic materials for contracts in excess of $350,000. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and portions thereof or to waive informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed ninety days from the date of opening for review prior to awarding the contract. No bids may be withdrawn during this time.
