Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Preston, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of a new 2MG Type III concrete water tank with associated piping, structures, earthwork, and electrical and controls. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and include a certified cashier's check or corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Preston in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Bidders will be required to meet Davis Bacon wage requirements and Build American Buy American (BABA) requirements. Each Bidder must have an appropriate Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of Preston reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Preston. All communications relative to this work shall be directed to the ENGINEER (Sydney Burtenshaw Lowe, Keller Associates, sburtenshawlowe@kellerassociates.com) prior to the opening of the Bid Proposals.
