Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes, but is not limited to: Phase 1 consists of street parking striping and stop bar removal, layout and new striping, concrete curb and sidewalk removal, handicap ramp construction, road gutter reconstruction, and installation of new signage and traffic management (including drums, cones, signs) for all cross streets extending east of Ocean Terrace and terminating at the Boardwalk. Phase 1 must be completed within 20 consecutive calendar days of notice to proceed. Phase 2 consists of street parking and crosswalk striping removal, layout and new striping, concrete curb and sidewalk removal, handicap construction, road gutter reconstruction, new signage, and traffic maintenance (drums, cones, signs) for all of Ocean Terrace from Porter Avenue to Heiring Avenue and Grant Avenue from Ocean Terrace to the Boulevard. Phase 2 must be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days of the Phase 2 construction start date. Each proposal must use the forms in the contract documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and project name. The materials required for the sealed envelope are specified under 'Instructions to Bidders.' Proposals must be complete, in ink, and any incomplete or improperly submitted bids may be considered informal. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 10% of the full contract bid, up to $20,000, made payable to the Borough of Seaside Heights, without conditions or qualifications. All bidders must comply with equal opportunity affirmative action requirements, the Prevailing Wage Act, and must disclose ownership if a corporation or partnership. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening.
