The project consists of completing repairs on ISS Transformers 1, 2, and 3 at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. The purpose is to address oil leaking primarily from the cooling fin assemblies mounted to the exterior of each assembly by epoxy treatment. Work includes preliminary inspection of transformers to confirm scope and methodology. Previous inspections have shown moderate corrosion and leaking at various locations of each of the three transformers. Contractors must confirm the scope and methodology through preliminary inspection before proceeding. Contractors are encouraged to register as planholders to receive all contract updates.
