Reference Number 0000430417 Lewis-Palmer School District 38 ("District"), in partnership with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) through the Safe Routes to School Program, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a pedestrian trail system and installation of a pedestrian bridge in Monument, Colorado. The project includes construction of an approximately 2.5-mile-long pedestrian trail. The new trail will be four (4) feet wide and consist of four (4) inches of rolled, compacted asphalt millings. The work includes approximately 9,700 linear feet of new trail requiring placement and compaction of asphalt millings and approximately 3,100 linear feet utilizing existing sidewalks and gravel access roads that will be connected and integrated into the overall trail system. The Work also includes installation of a pedestrian bridge and all associated grading, drainage improvements, and site restoration as specified in the Contract Documents.
