Renovation of a library in Cherokee, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Work generally consists of renovation of the Cherokee Public Library work area and circulation desk. The work also consists of renovating under the stairs and a new conference room. There is an alternate including work to paint the existing metal stair and ramp railing. There is another alternate to remove the existing wall paper, skim coat and paint all walls of the existing library. Summary Project Description: Base bid to include the renovation of the interior of the main lobby and circulation desk along with an alternate for removing the wall paper, skim coating and also painting of the entire library and an alternate for the work to paint the existing gaurd rails and hand rails throughout the building.. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, renovation, construction financing, and facility operations during occupancy. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum).
