Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work will consist of removal and disposal of existing filter media from the six existing manganese greensand pressure filters; internal inspection of filter vessels, underdrain systems, distributors, nozzles, strainers, and associated internal components; optional work includes replacement of damaged or fouled components within the pressure filter; replacement of filter media, including manganese greensand, anthracite, gravel and torpedo sand in the six pressure filters, completed sequentially to maintain potable water production; and chlorination and bacterial testing of pressure filters.
