Provide all labor, equipment, materials, engineering, and certified personnel necessary to perform a complete replacement of the chilled water system serving a secure 24/7 operations server room facility. Work includes performing professional engineering cooling load calculations in accordance with UFC 3-410-01 to determine final system capacity and developing a replacement design standardized on Trane-series equipment. The project requires decommissioning, refrigerant recovery, and removal of the existing chilled water system and two existing Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAHs). The contractor shall procure, install, test, and commission one new Trane-series water chiller with an integrated air-cooled condenser and two new chilled-water CRAHs serving the secure server room. Continuous and redundant temporary cooling must be provided throughout construction to ensure zero downtime and maintain required server room operating temperatures. Work also includes integration of all new controls into the existing base-wide Energy Management Control System (EMCS) in accordance with Base EMCS Standards and UFC 3-410-02; connection to the existing 460V, 60 Hz, three-phase electrical service; system startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning; and all associated piping, controls, electrical, and mechanical work required for a fully operational system. The replacement equipment must accommodate existing site constraints, including placement on the current chiller pad or extension of the pad if required, compliance with structural weight limitations, and delivery and installation through restricted interior access routes with limited doorway clearances. All personnel must satisfy security requirements, including NCIC background checks, OPSEC compliance, and completion of AT Level I training prior to gaining facility access.
