Renovation of a military facility in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Replacement of the existing chilled water system and two (2) computer room air handlers (CRAHs). The new chiller system shall consist of Trane-series equipment in accordance with Air Force Civil Engineering installation standardization guidance. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the replacement and installation work as detailed in the Statement of Work. Location: Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, Colorado 80011. Question Deadline 09/03/2026 at 10:00 AM MT Questions following the site visit will be due to Contracting Officer (TSgt Matthew Kennedy, matthew.kennedy.24@spaceforce.mil) and Contract Specialist (2d Lt Maurice Epps, maurice.epps@spaceforce.mil). Chilled Water System Replacement The contractor is responsible for providing all material and qualified labor necessary for the completion of this project. The contractor shall: o o Base the design of the chiller system on Trane-series equipment to support the Government's goal of equipment standardization. Replace the chiller along with all necessary associated distribution. Provide and install new Trane chiller system meeting the following technical specifications: O Physical footprint must fit onto the existing concrete pad (19 ' - 11 " L x 12 - 8" W x 6 "-8" H"). If the equipment exceeds these dimensions , the pad shall be extended to accommodate the new equipment. The operational weight of the new chiller system must not exceed the existing concrete pad's load capacity of 12,000 lbs. System Capacity to be determined by existing Chiller, CRAHs, and sequence of operations. Must integrate into the existing electrical 460V, 60 Hz, 3-Phase power supply and comply with all the applicable requirements in UFC 3-501-01. Provide and install all piping tie-ins, isolation valves, glycol feeder and other components required to integrate the new chiller into the existing chilled water distribution system. Provide and install emergency chilled water tap connections, isolation valves, and quick-connect fittings to facilitate the rapid integration of a temporary chiller in the event of primary system failure. Flush the chilled water distribution system and recharge with a 30% propylene glycol and water solution. The refrigerant type must comply with the environmental requirements specified in UFC 3-401-01, Section 2-5. Sound and vibration control must comply with the requirements in UFC 3-410-01, Section 2-19. O Must integrate into existing base Energy Management Control System (EMCS) and meet all applicable requirements in UFC 3-410-01 , UFC 3- 410-02 and EMCS Standards 26AUG2026.
