The District is governed by a Board ofTrustees and operates under the authority of the Texas Education Agency (TEA).1.2 Project Background Huffman ISD is issuing this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) to solicit proposalsfrom qualified general contractors for the construction of two related but separately funded projects. Interior refresh of (approximately 12,000 SQFT) select existing classrooms, corridors and restrooms to a existing building occupancy type (E) education. Construction type II-B. Work includes architectural finishes, doors and replacement of existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing one for one as required to update the select areas for maintenance to various buildings occupancy (E) education throughout the Huffman Elementary School campus. Exterior lighting improvements to existing exterior canopies. Refer to Drawings and Specifications for additional details Component 1 - New Operations Center - Building A, C, D, E and F (details below) The selected Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the complete construction of a new Operations Center Campus in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work to comply with FEMA PA Category E procurement and documentation requirements. Federal funding requirements apply to Component 1 . Although a single contract will govern both Components, all billing, change orders, and cost records must clearly identify and separate costs by Component.
