The City of Milton, Washington invites qualified firms/consultants to submit proposals for building fire code review and inspection services. The services the successful consultant will be required to provide shall include: Review of commercial and residential building plans and development projects for compliance with the Milton Municipal Code (MMC), International Fire Code (IFC), NFPA standards and local amendments; conducting field inspections of fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, suppression systems, and life safety requirements during various stages of construction; participation in pre-application, pre-construction, and cooperative review meetings with developers, architects, and municipal staff; providing written documentation of all inspection results and maintaining records. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City of Milton reserves the sole right to terminate this process, to not award a contract, and to cancel or modify this solicitation process at any time.
