Sealed proposals are invited for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees required to construct Hill Tower Park, Phase 1. The work consists of removing the existing parking lot at Hill Tower Park and replacing it with on-street angled parking, a sidewalk/multi-use path, a bike lane, and associated stormwater improvements. Additionally, the project includes replacing a rockery with a gravity block wall and removing and resurfacing a sport court. Improvements are not limited to, but include: pavement removal and reconstruction in limited areas, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, pavement markings, retaining wall, and related miscellaneous items as shown and described in the contract documents, special provisions, and standard specifications. The project must reach substantial completion within 75 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be submitted only on forms provided with the bid documents and accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond payable to the City of Milton in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount.
