The pharmacy will serve the full community (not limited to Weems patients), participate in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program, and is expected to improve medication access and health outcomes in eastern Franklin County. The Work under this solicitation is anticipated to consist primarily of an interior build-out / fit-out of existing space within or adjacent to the medical center, including but not limited to: Demolition and selective removal as required for the new layout; New partitions, doors, hardware, and finishes suitable for a retail pharmacy and medication storage; Pharmacy-specific cabinetry, counters, shelving, and secure storage (including controlledsubstance security as required by the Florida Board of Pharmacy and DEA if applicable); Electrical, data, and low-voltage work for lighting, power, point-of-sale, security cameras, access control, and pharmacy systems; HVAC modifications or balancing as needed for the occupancy and any temperature/humiditysensitive storage; Plumbing for sinks or other fixtures as required; Fire protection, fire alarm, and life-safety adjustments coordinated with the Authority Having Jurisdiction and Weems Life Safety; Signage (interior and limited exterior as permitted); Final cleaning, commissioning support, and close-out documentation.
