Demolition and renovation of a detention facility in Quitman, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade detention facility; and for the demolition of a detention facility.
Question Deadline 09/07/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Brooks County Jail Shower Stall Replacement Project as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of removal and replacement of 40 shower stalls within (upstairs & downstairs ) and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close- out with 194 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications . The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
