Underground Fuel Storage Tank Removal Project. The work consists of removal and proper disposal of two existing 4,000-gallon underground diesel fuel storage tanks and associated piping at the Boxborough Department of Public Works Annex, including excavation, environmental testing coordination, backfilling, site restoration, disposal, and required regulatory documentation. Key Scope Items: Removal and legal off-site disposal of two 4,000-gallon diesel USTs and piping. Concrete/asphalt removal, tank cleaning, and liquid/sludge disposal. Environmental testing coordination with the Town-designated Licensed Site Professional (LSP). Backfilling (12-inch lifts), compaction, and final soil grading (asphalt replacement excluded). Complete closeout submittals, tank yard receipts, and waste manifests.
