Roof replacement for the guard house. The City of Tybee Island seeks qualified bidders for the replacement of the existing roof over the Historic Guard House, located at 31 Van Horn Avenue, Tybee Island, GA, 31328, which is owned by the City of Tybee Island. The existing roof is approximately 2,650 square feet in size on the main building. The existing standing seam roof on the porch section of the building is 875 square feet. The 325 linear feet of gutters and gutter screens , and 150 lineal feet of downspouts will also be replaced as part of this project. The new roofs, gutters, downspouts, and fascia repairs shall adhere to the requirements as shown in the Scope of Services of this ITB The CONTRACTOR shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the scope of services as listed below. The CONTRACTOR shall remove the existing roof system and flashing and properly dispose of all material. The CONTRACTOR shall inspect the wood decking. The CONTRACTOR shall perform all the necessary wood repairs. The installation of five (5) sheets of T- 11 decking plywood shall be included in the base price of the contract. The CONTRACTOR shall install high temperature ice and water shield to the entire decking per the manufacturer specifications.
