The scope of work required for this project is the construction of a new Wastewater Collection System for the Vereen Service Area. The Vereen Project area is a small service area located in the SE portion of the Town of Eatonville, East of I-4, and south of E Kennedy Blvd., adjacent to Maitland. On the southern portion of the Vereen Service Area, the wastewater collection system travels a circuitous route from residential properties on the south end along Monroe Dr., then draining westward to Jonotey Dr, then northward along Jonotey Dr. to a manhole in the Fitzgerald Dr. and Jonotey Dr. intersection and picking up westward flow from Berthann Lane along the route. The combined flows then travel east from the manhole in the Fitzgerald Dr. and Jonotey Dr. intersection along Fitzgerald Dr to a manhole on the far east end of Fitzgerald Dr., then north through private property to a manhole just west of lift station #4 at the east end of Vereen Dr. (614 Vereen Dr.). Additional flows for the lift station (#4) into the same manhole are from the west end of Vereen Dr. The north residential properties also drain to lift station #4, countercurrent to the force main flow from the lift station, starting at the west end of Wigman Dr., draining eastward to Pearlman Ct., and then south to the lift station (LS#4). The new Wastewater Collection System will essentially follow the same routing, except instead of travelling eastward on Fitzgerald Dr. from the manhole in the Fitzgerald Dr. and Jonotey Dr. intersection to a manhole on the far east end of Fitzgerald Dr. and then north through private property; the gravity flow will be westward on Fitzgerald Dr. to S. West St., north on S. West St. to Vereen Dr., and then east on Vereen Dr. to a terminal manhole just west of the Vereen Lift Station wet well. Prospective bidders are cautioned not to contact Town officials or staff regarding this solicitation except through the designated procurement contact identified in the solicitation documents. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. The Town of Eatonville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or irregularities to the extent permitted by law, and award a contract in accordance with the solicitation documents and applicable procurement requirements.
