Site work for a water / sewer project in Bath, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves the replacement of approximately 610 linear feet of existing 6-inch cast iron water main with an 8-inch ductile iron water main. The replacement will connect to an existing 8-inch main at the intersection of Chestnut Street and transition to a 6-inch main at the intersection of High Street. Temporary water service will be provided by the Owner. Remove existing water main Install new 8" zinc coated ductile iron water main with polyethylene encasement tubing Connect existing services o Eight (8) - 1-inch corporations reduced to existing 3/4 -inch copper lines o One (1) - 2-inch copper o One (1) - 4-inch ductile iron o One (1) - 6-inch ductile iron Install fire hydrant o One (1) - Eddy Replace inline gate valves o Two (2) - 8-inch Pressure test and disinfect Restore pavement and surfaces Traffic control and cleanup Anticipated Start: 2026 Submit questions to: Bids@bathwd.org The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
