The Town of Dover-Foxcroft is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified paving contractors for the paving of the apparatus ramp at the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Station. The scope of work includes preparation and paving of an area approximately 1,500 square feet in size. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the following tasks: o Inspect the existing ramp and remove any loose or unstable material. o Grade and compact the base material to ensure proper drainage and stability. o Apply tack coat as necessary. o Furnish and install a new asphalt surface suitable for heavy-duty use (e.g., fire apparatus and emergency vehicles). o Ensure smooth transition from ramp to existing pavement. o Clean up and restore the surrounding area to original or better condition. o Coordinate all work to avoid disruption of Fire Department operations.
