Renovation of a residential development in Dover Foxcroft, Maine. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
o Location: 127 Pleasant Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME o Scope: Demolition and removal of the existing failing retaining wall, site preparation, reconstruction of a new retaining wall, drainage improvements (as needed), and restoration of affected areas. o Ownership: The retaining wall is located within the Town's right-of-way, The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. The work includes but is not limited to: o Site assessment and verification of conditions. o Demolition and removal of existing retaining wall and debris. o Engineering design and construction of a new retaining wall, including footing and drainage considerations. o Coordination with utility providers if needed. o Erosion control and traffic control measures. o Restoration of disturbed areas including grading, seeding, paving (if required), and sidewalk repair (if applicable). o Compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal codes and permitting requirements, The selected contractor will be required to enter into a contract with the Town of Dover-Foxcroft and comply with all terms outlined therein. The anticipated start date for the project is Summer/Fall 2025, with completion expected no later than October 31, 2025.
