Renovation of a multi-residential development in Dover Foxcroft, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-unit multi-residential development.

The work includes the proper abatement and disposal of hazardous building materials and the demolition, removal, and disposal of residential structures and associated construction and demolition (C&D) debris/wastes located at 130 Grove Street in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Proposals must include all permits, equipment, labor, and materials required to complete the project. All demolition/disposal must result in satisfactory removal of all portions of all structures on the lot and the removal of the foundation down to the grade of the lot. Any granite present must be salvaged and stockpiled on site. Non-granite foundation material above grade may be deposited into the foundation so that the foundation wall is brought down to grade. The perimeter of the foundation must be marked with flagging and safety barriers. The Town will backfill the foundation, loam, and seed once demolition is complete. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes. Disposal of all materials and debris from the site must be at a licensed disposal facility outside of the Municipality of Dover-Foxcroft. An assessment of hazardous building materials and special wastes is required, and a pre-demolition impact survey for asbestos and other hazardous materials must be conducted by licensed professionals. Any asbestos-containing materials and hazardous wastes must be properly removed and disposed of by licensed firms at permitted facilities. Contractors must not dispose of hazardous, special, or C&D wastes at any Town facility. Contractors must provide proof of appropriate licensing/certification, site control methods, and a list of any subcontractors to be used. All required permits are to be included in the proposal. The Town will not charge a fee for local permits it may issue. Bidders must submit proposals using the required Bid Form and Contractor Questionnaire, and all proposals must be sealed and delivered to the Town Office by the specified deadline. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, cancel, or amend the project as needed.
