Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eastbrook, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The project involves rebuilding a 550-foot section of Macomber Mill Road. The scope of work includes removing the existing pavement, excavating 2 feet of existing roadway gravel, installing 18 inches of Type D gravel topped with 6 inches of Type A gravel, ditching both sides of the road for drainage, and ensuring the new pavement matches the existing depth up to 4 inches, placed in two lifts. Additional unit pricing should be provided for each 18-inch diameter culvert spanning the width of the road and for rock/ledge removal per cubic yard. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the specified address. The right is reserved to accept or reject any and all bids.
