Site work for a civil project in Fayette, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves the installation of two (2) precast concrete box culverts and retaining wall systems (supplied by the Town), gravel base and subbase, steel beam guardrails and other related incidental items on Fayette Corner Road and Echo Lake Road in Fayette. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check, made out to the Town of Fayette 100% Construction Performance Bond 100% Construction Payment Bond The Town of Fayette will have sixty (60) calendar days within which to accept or reject any bid. The work on Fayette Corner Road shall be completed by August 31, 2025. The work on Echo Lake Road shall be completed by October 10, 2025. In-water work for the installation of the concrete box culverts must be completed between July 15 and September 30, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per day are contained in the Contract. The Town of Fayette reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. The Town of Fayette reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Fayette, not necessarily the lowest bid.
