Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewiston, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

An ATRC submitted and Maine DOT funded road paving and sidewalk improvement project from Tampa Street to Fairlawn Street. Fund allocation is 90% Federal/State and 10% Local. Project scope is to mill and overlay roadway pavement and rehabilitate existing sidewalks and assure ADA compliance. A two-way left turn lane will be added throughout this section and mid-block crossing is proposed. The project was funded in FY22 for $330,000 for design and RoW. Current estimated total project budget is $3,330,000. FY26 funding will cover construction and construction engineering. Construction is planned for calendar year 2026. As of March 3, 2025, this project is included in the City of Lewiston's Fiscal Year 2026-2030 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established.
