LCIP26 - The design and permitting of this project will extend the Sunnyside/Riverside trail for a half mile from Sunnyside Park at Whipple Street southerly along the Androscoggin River to West Bates Street. - Currently, on road sidewalks complete this section of the Greenway Trail so this rel.ocation will create a more seamless and pleasing extension of the current paved trail joining these two trails into one. - The project scope will include a 10 foot paved trail, benches, dog stations, signage, and some off-street parking LCIP27 - Construction of the trail extension and related amenities The project is included in the City's 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
