The Town of Limestone is seeking bids for the provision of sand for 2022/2023. All bids are subject to the following conditions: 1. The Town estimates that it will purchase up to 1,000 yards of 1/2" sand to be used for winter sanding of roadways. 2. The Town reserves the right to adjust the amount of purchased materials to meet its actual needs. 3. All bids shall be stated based on U.S. funds based on a per yard basis. Payment will be made on actual product purchased. All bids shall be for the duration of the fiscal year. 4. Price shall include delivery to Town of Limestone Highway Garage. 5. Delivery schedule will be coordinated with the Public Works Department 6. Bidders shall specify and detail the location of the pit to be used. 7. All materials must be free of all objects larger than the sizes specified. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. The purchaser reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and/or all bids, to waive any formalities/informalities/technicalities, and to award bids as they deem in the best interest of the Town. All bids must be valid for 30 days from the deadline for submission, above, and cannot be withdrawn for this period.
