Proposed Timeline: January 3 - Open Bids January 10- Award Contract to Successful Bidder Spring/summer of 2015- Perform Demolition as Per Contract on Site Review of Buildings to Be Demolished Can Be Scheduled by Contacting Shannon Hill at Shill@micmac-nsn.gov or 207-764-7636. Description of Project: Demolition of Five, Varying Size and Structure Type, of Dilapidated Former Military Industrial Buildings Through Both Methods of 'tear-down' of Wooden and Smaller Structures, as Well as 'structure Disassembly' With Heavy Equipment to Break-down Large Steel Member Supported Structures. Demolition Scope Includes Removal of Structures, Removal and Off-site Disposal of All Debris, Removal of Building Concrete Slabs, General Backfill and Rough Grading of Sites. No Other Restoration Efforts Are Included.
