Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lubec, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of October 1,2020 project was awarded to Hanscom Construction amount of $608,360.00 . The project just started yesterday but no specific completion date yet. The work shall consist of the construction of approximately 3,600 linear feet of bike lanes along both sides of Route 189 in Lubec, Maine. The proposed bike lanes shall consist of a full shoulder buildup, including 18 inches of new gravel, 4 inches of pavement, signage, roadway striping, and providing and installing seed and mulch to all disturbed areas. Bidders must have purchased the Project Documents for their bid to be considered. The Contractor shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and work performed for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion. Questions pertaining to Project Documents should be directed to Chip Haskell, P.E. at chaskell@cesincusa.com. Any addenda to the Project Documents will be issued to prospective bidders via email by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2020. The Town of Lubec, Maine reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in its best interests, as Owner, to accept.
