The Town of Lubec is seeking bids for the following services: Landfill Mowing, Airport Mowing, Roadside Mowing, Public Works Garage Mowing, Municipal Heating Oil (4,000 gallons), Heating Service Contract for 4 sites, Municipal Heating Propane, General Assistance including Propane, Kerosene, and Heating Oil, Gasoline and Diesel for Trucks, Trash Removal for Municipal Facilities, and Vehicle Repairs. Bids must be clearly marked with a reference to the specific service being bid on. Proof of insurance and a WCB-267 proof of independent contractor status are required from all bidders. Assistance in obtaining the WCB-267 can be provided if needed. For trash removal, services will include placement of a 4-yard dumpster at the Lubec Town Office, a 2-yard dumpster at the public works garage, municipal boat ramp, and marina office, as well as three trash receptacles on Water Street from May 15 to October 15, 2026. The selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
