Request for Qualifications Legal Notice Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Information for Architects The Mount Desert Elementary School Committee wishes to procure professional architectural services for the development of architectural plans and associated costs for removal, renovations, and addition to the Mount Desert Elementary School. The priority of our school community for this building project is to create a quality teaching and 21st century learning environment with an emphasis on safety, sustainability, and flexibility. The Mount Desert Elementary School is in the Town of Northeast Harbor, Maine, and is a member of AOS 91 (Alternate Organizational Structure 91). Representing the Mount Desert Elementary School throughout the RFQ process will be the Superintendent of Schools, the Principal of the Mount Desert Elementary School, the MDIRSS Operations Coordinator, a Representative from the Mount Desert Elementary School Committee, and a Representative from the Town of Mount Desert. Teachers and other staff members may be called upon for their assistance. Based on the recommendations from this group, the Mount Desert Elementary School Committee will ultimately choose the architect for this project. All questions should also be addressed to the same.
