Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for the replacement of the existing Southwest Harbor Public Works Garage and related upgrades to the public works facility including mobilization, erosion control, all temporary construction power, demolition of existing buildings and structures, site clearing, removal and or abandonment of existing utilities, excavation and earthwork, aggregates, backfill and compaction, paving, cast-in-place concrete, building oil separator, sanitary sewer improvements, including septic tank and sanitary sewer pump station, site drainage, building drainage system holding tank system, water system improvements, gravel storage area sedimentation and erosion control pond, underground and overhead electrical, complete metal building package for public works garage, electrical power and distribution, lighting, relocation of existing propane tank and emergency stand-by generator, HVAC equipment and installation and all incidentals for a complete public works garage and office building and all associated site work. This project will require compliance with the Federal Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) per the Supplementary Conditions (BABA-1) and the use of American Iron and Steel in accordance with Public Law 113-76, Section 436. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions.
