The Town of Vassalboro, Maine seeks sealed bids from qualified contractors for professional tree cutting, removal, and pruning services at two municipal cemeteries. The scope of work includes: canopy pruning of branches on Maple #25, removal of right leader on Maple #26, and removal of the final remaining branch on Maple #27 at Weeks Cemetery; complete removal of Oak Tree #10, Cherry #14, Cedar #18, Maple #23, and dead Ash #16 at Union Cemetery. Contractors must remove all waste material except for logs, which should be left safely on the ground without blocking paths or headstones for removal by the Public Works Department. Bidders may deliver submissions by hand or mail. The Town reserves the right to reject any bids, waive informalities, and exclude bidders with unsatisfactory previous performance or inadequate capability. Contractors interested in obtaining bid forms and contract documents should contact the Town Manager.
