The City of Westbrook, Maine is seeking to purchase 5 sets of rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB) for installation at various pedestrian crossings in the City. This bid is for equipment only. To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Supplier shall have obtained at least one set of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Bid will not be awarded to a Bidder unless a record for obtaining at least one set of Bidding Documents exists in the Issuing Office. To meet this requirement and to establish the record of receipt, a prospective Bidder must obtain Bidding Documents using the name that is to appear on the Bid Form. All questions shall be directed, in writing, to Eric Dudley at least three (3) business days before the opening date. Questions received after this time will not be addressed. Responses from the City that substantially alter this Bid will be issued in the form of a written addendum to all those that have expressed interest in the project. Oral explanations or interpretations given before the award of contract will not be binding. The City of Westbrook reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in the best interests of the City.
