The Town of Weston is accepting bids for mowing the Towns' 4 cemeteries and public lands for each year of a three (3) year contract starting July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2026. The bid will be accepted on the mowing, trimming and debris removal for four (4) cemeteries, public lands to include the Town Office, Boat Ramp, Town Parking Lot, two (2) Scenic Turnouts and two (2) Roadside Signs. The contractor is to furnish all necessary equipment and to provide certificates of liability/property damage insurance coverage in the amount of $500,000.00 and worker's compensation insurance coverage or an approved Predetermination of Independent Contractor Status to Establish a Rebuttable Presumption. The successful bidder must provide all certificates of insurance and performance guarantee requirements as stated in the Contract specifications, prior to entering into the contract no later than fifteen (15) days of awarding of the bid. The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
