Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yarmouth, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Town of Yarmouth, Maine (Owner) invites Bidders to submit sealed Bids for the Royal River Park Improvements located near 111 East Elm Street, Yarmouth, Maine. In accordance with the drawings and specifications presented in this Project Manual, the project consists generally of demolition, renovation, and construction of the Royal River Park current and new amenities including, but not limited to: asphalt paths and parking areas; concrete work associated with ramps, benches, bike racks, and water fountains; preparation for planting beds; fencing and hand rails; electrical conduit; lighting; and more. The project requires installation of stormwater mitigation measures, drainage, tree protection measures, erosion and sedimentation control BMPs, and the application of loam, seed, and mulch. The Royal River Park Improvements and is partially funded by the Land and Water Conservation Fund and Build America Buy America requirements will apply to all work. Contractors shall notify Karyn MacNeill, Director, Yarmouth Parks, Recreation,& Community Services (YCS) via email at kmacneill@yarmouth.me.us of their intent to bid. Questions must be received by 8:00AM local time on Monday, September 15, 2025 . An addendum, if required, will be issued by the Owner by Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 4:30PM local time. The Contractor is encouraged to utilize, to the fullest extent possible, Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Women's Business Enterprises(WBEs), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in the performance of this contract. Where subcontracting is anticipated, the Contractor shall make good faith efforts to solicit bids from and award subcontracts to MBE/WBE/DBE firms and to document such efforts.
