Site work for a water / sewer project in Yarmouth, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of water main on Route 1 in Yarmouth, ME, replacing the existing cast iron main. The replacement scope includes associated valves, hydrants, and service lines, beginning at DeLorme Drive and extending north on Route 1 to the Cousins River bridge. The abandoned cast iron water mains will remain in place. The Contractor shall install materials furnished by the Owner, as indicated in the contract documents. The base bid is for open cut installation of the water main, with a bid alternate for installation via horizontal directional drill. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
